Job Summary:

Position: Sales Agent for Insurance (Remote Opportunity)

Pay: The employer has not disclosed the salary; a weekly income of $865.00 is estimated by the Canadian Job. 


Type of Employment: Part-Time.


Where: Niverville, Manitoba.


Shift: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday, and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday (once a month). The applicant needs to be adaptable enough to work different shifts during call center hours.


Conditions: 


Languages: Proficiency in the English language is required of candidates. 


Education: Applicants must possess a standard education, such as a postsecondary degree. 


Experience Candidates should have a lot of experience working in call centers, retail, or customer service; knowledge of insurance is a plus.


Additional requirements include the candidate's good verbal and written communication skills as well as their high level of motivation, which they attribute to their commitment to exceeding customer expectations and improving continuously. 


The ideal applicant would be a team member who shares information and insights with colleagues and possesses the critical thinking abilities to identify requirements and offer solutions to clients.

An advantage is the candidate's OTL/RIBO license (if not, you must be willing to earn your OTL, granted by CAA). 


Our in-house learning and development team will train you for an OTL (other than life) insurance license. They will cover information on vehicle and home products as well as general industry knowledge to get you ready for the OTL exam. A passing score on the OTL exam is necessary for the position.


As part of the sales process, the candidate must be able to quote and sell property and vehicle insurance to incoming callers while adhering to policies and underwriting criteria. 


The applicant must be able to evaluate the client's needs, determine what extra P&C coverage is needed, and recommend it. 


A candidate ought to be able to meet predetermined goals in terms of quality, average call duration, sales, etc.
